Bernadette was very welcoming and made sure we could communicate fully. Bernadette gave us suggestions for possible restaurants in the area. We had a very good night's rest and breakfast, with homemade conserves and ham.

So clean, very comfortable, spacious..Outstanding evening meal, the food was superb, created by Jules..eating I the large shared kitchen dining room was a first and we loved it..What lovely warm people..Great area to visit, but weather was poor, but so comfortable it did not matter and we were delighted to be able to eat our dinner at Fred and Jules property..Breakfast was superb, I tried Jules latest Jam he had just finished making...whow..we will be back..

Absolutely everything! Dominique was the best host ever. She responded to all our queries immediately and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. The apartment was very well appointed with everything you needed, and more! The kitchen, dining and lounge areas were excellent and all the little extra touches, and the unique decor were a delight. The bedroom was small but had a very comfortable bed and suited our needs. The information booklet Dominique created was very detailed with heaps of terrific suggestions for day trips and activities in the area.
The setting beside the river was superb; peaceful, relaxing and a beautiful environment. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting, and we enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our balcony.
It was handy to Argentat's town centre and the walk into Argentat beside the river was easy and very beautiful, as is Argentat. There was a lovely walk with a lake nearby as well. I would definitely return for a longer stay/holiday. Totally recommend. 💚
