Not very often in the days of hyperbolic Tripadvisors &c. you actually come to a place which exceeds your expectations. This was certainly the case at Château de la Foltière. The main attraction is of course the magnificent Jardin Botanique de Haute Bretagne, but the guest rooms in the château which sits in the centre of it are almost as exceptional as the surrounding park. Simple but elegant & the most charming welcome, breakfast you could wish for. A special bonus (for me) was the absence of that huge black television screen which seems to be a 'conditio sine qua non' in hotel rooms these days!

We truly enjoyed our night at La Lande Chauvin. Soazig was a warm and charming hostess! The attention to detail inside the property was exceptional. Drink and food available on arrival: nice welcoming touch! The place is quiet and very clean. We slept very well. The garden around the property is amazing with private drive and parking.
