Further on is a little creek, a tributary of the Loire, where boats are tied up on a pontoon. There is a good restaurant here too. Nantes is only half an hour's drive away. I was travelling from Canada and got there before check-in. I sat in the garden until the host arrived. It was no hardship, the place is peaceful and quaint. Nathalie is an amazing host! Honestly don’t let the distance from the city center deter you from staying here. The city is only 15 min drive. You’ll need a car but it is well worth the drive and the stay. The breakfast is delicious, fresh assorted breads and croissants, homemade jam and juice. The bedroom is beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Merci Nathalie!
