Just wonderful! Nice and clean and lots of style. Madame Cecile is a wonderful host. Wished we could stay longer.

    Historic castle outside of a rural village. Comfortable big room. Very clean and neat. Common spaces with tea facilities and fridge. Common living room and breakfast room. Basic (sweet) breakfast with croissants, marmelades, yogurt, coffee and juice. Friendly and accomodating staff. Beautiful garden with big trees labeled per type. Supermarkets on 9min drive. No restaurants/bakery in the village but we knew that.

    The chateau was so fascinating with all it’s history. The house was very large and spotless. Lovely garden to stroll around. COVID precautions were very thorough. We felt very safe. We thoroughly enjoyed the “assiette Lorraine” and glass of wine, which were very welcome after the journey. The room was very large and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept like logs, especially as the chateau was really quiet and tranquil. Wonderful location and very close to the motorway for onward travel. Plenty of parking on site.
