Easy to find off main route to Rennes travelling north from Nantes. Our bedroom, bathroom area and all linen were spotlessly clean. Breakfast choice, quantity and quality to a high standard taken in a pleasant room. The grounds are attractive.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The place is amazing, big and spacious and the best thing is Mdme Laure and her kindness and stories and the location, easy morning runs, plenty of space to run and play with children. Will come back if we are in the area.
The project of renovating and maintaining a castle is amazing
Very interesting history in the monument listed Château which was explained by the helpful owner.
Great location en route to ferry. Children had fun in the pool and with all the animals, lovely walks around the lake and through the woods.
Will definitely be returning again and telling our friends about this jewel in the French countryside.
Beautiful location. The owner was very welcoming. The Château is a treasure, the room was beautiful. The surroundings are stunning. Fantastic place for a longer stay. Very quiet and peaceful.
A lovely rural location and such a treat to stay in a Chateau. The pool was available when we arrived after our journey which was great. Our room was huge and we felt like we were staying in a National Trust property. Breakfast served in splendid surroundings.
The hostess/owner immediately made us feel at home and accommodated our every need.. We have 2 dogs and even though we were staying in a beautiful chateaux, she made us and the dogs part of the family and feel it was a home from home. This is completely unique experience to stay in a beautiful historic building, with our dogs not worrying about anything which is very rare. The location is perfect, peaceful , in full countryside but just off the motorway, very convenient. Fully recommend this unique experience!
