Absolute gem of a stay. The house was beautiful, Isabelle so friendly & helpful. We were sorry we were not staying longer. The bed was very comfortable & we appreciated the coffee machine & kettle. We had the room with the terrace & it was lovely sitting there in the evening, & first thing whilst enjoying our coffee/tea! It is next to the railway viaduct but the trains go by so slowly you could almost hitch a ride & certainly were not a problem, which my husband had expected.

The apartment is on the ground floor, so we don't have to climb the stairs with suitcases. Tight windows and shutters provide protection from the street. There is little car traffic, and in the morning there are some students going to a nearby school. We had no problems with parking and collected the key. We lived very well :)

The apartment has all necessary appliances and stuff such as washing machine and dryer. Small outdoor seating area where we enjoy our daily breakfast. The house and garden is so beautiful. It was a great treat to stay at a house like this. Raphael was a wonderful host and was very accommodating especially concerning time of breakfast and sharing useful information.

The location, being on the canal, especially on a lovely evening and sun setting. The barge is a short distance from a bus stop and you can get a bus in Dijon which was amazing. We meet the owner (Bruno) briefly, he was friendly and helpful:)

The location is very nice situated and looks like an estate with a little castle, a riding school for horse owners, a swimming pool, etc. There is also a beautiful large garden where you can enjoy your walk or sit.
The hostess and host are very nice and helpful people. Even without being able to speak a word French, we managed to understand each other by with the translation app.
