This was by far the best and most exceptional experience we ever experienced.
The Chateau is literally a hidden gem perfectly situated between Épernay and Paris (an hour drive) in one of the least touristy areas of Champagne. Imagine lots of stunning and authentic views, set in an area filled with history and grapes.
Château de Picheny itself is an exceptional boutique Hotel experience. The owners are so friendly and warm! The effort taken into detail and guest experience is unmatched. The suites are stunning and amazing.
We recommend Château de Picheny to everyone and we will go back for sure! For us the Chateau is from now on a destination on its own, Champagne comes second.

Overall very good stay here. Keep in mind they have quite the hard mattress, this caused some issues for my girlfriend, for me on the other hand it was no issue as I find this is better for me personally. The reason the location score only gets a normal smiley is because it is pretty far from a larger village centre so if you want to go out and eat at a restaurant or you want to find a supermarket the only option is driving there by car which is a -, on the other hand the remote location does provide you with a very silent and relaxed area which a big +. Breakfast was not provided but they did leave a basket with some small jams, honey and chocolate paste. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped, almost anything you might need is provided.
Auberge le relais is a 3-star property set in Reuilly-Sauvigny. Free WiFi is provided. At the hotel, the rooms are air-conditioned and offer a wardrobe, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV.

I have mixed feelings about this ‘auberge’. I really liked the place, an old building immerged in nature, beautiful views to the vines, a nice garden and quite a few champagneries just across the river. The food in the restaurant was very good, including the breakfast and all the staff very nice. The place was very clean.

This is a perfect apartman to discover Champagne. The apartman is comfortabla, spacious, it's terrace has a magnificent view to the vineyards.
Our host was very kind. The champagnes of the house are excellent, the best value for money.

Peaceful location, beautiful farmhouse with a great ambience, seriously comfortable bed and an amazing host who spoiled us from arrival to departure. A wonderful supper cooked by Fred, including a selection of the finest local cheeses and a wine list to rival most restaurants at very reasonable prices, including several local champagnes, followed by a breakfast with a selection of about 20 home-made jams from his garden. He made us so welcome it was like staying with an old friend. Luxurious and yet relaxed. And very dog-friendly.

Wonderful welcome to a lovely, newly refurbished annex to the owner’s house. Gorgeous views across the fields, close to large-ish village of Montmirail. Very good value too!
