Friendly owner, bed was very very comfy, bathroom was very clean and smelled very nice. Exactly what we needed as a midpoint before we returned to Calais and then back to the UK. If you need somewhere to stay this is a very very good place

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Not much - it seemed to be an elderly couple who was letting out spare rooms to make some spare cash. Very dated interior ( but no decent furniture or antiques - just very ordinary in every way ) There was no mention of the indoor swimming pool and the gardens were unkempt with no flowers! No hot water- it was tepid and meant a very uncomfortable shower . Cheap IKEA beds did not impress us either. This was planned as our special last night in France - instead it ended with great dissatisfaction and disappointment
Tucked away in an amazing location, a beautiful house full of character and the old chateau next to the house was intriguing. Charming hosts, a lovely breakfast.
It was a delicious breakfast in a very sweet dining room. It felt lovely to have breakfast there. The Chateu itself is so spectacular. It was in a silent location and we could hear the birds. I would like to stay there again in the future.
What an amazing Chateaux & to have its very own castle in the grounds. Extremely friendly hosts, very welcoming. Spotless throughout with immaculate period decor & furnishings. Wonderfully tendered gardens with spectacular views. Served a plentiful French breakfast. Good selection of restaurants in the neighbouring town of Soissons. Would highly recommend.
Everything. The whole experience was outstanding. It is ideal for a get away in comfort in the country side. Soisson is not that far away and the restaurants there are good. The breakfast was high quality.
