The continental breakfast was perfect, fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, served with a smile and lively conversation with Pierre. …dining to the sound of the River Cisse actually running through and under the old restored mill! Dinner on the terrace under the trees was beautiful and delicious. Our room was beautifully appointed and huge! The location is close to so many castle day trips, and a hot air balloon ride!

Cute cabin though it is aways outside from Amboise so would only recommend if you have your own means of transportation to get there. Not much around the area though so definitely need to go to Amboise for any dining options. Cabins are well constructed if a bit cramped, note that the private showers are in a separate facility and are camping style showers with open air stalls rather than being contained within the cabins themselves. Loved the location as we were traveling.by train and it was an east walk to the gare. It happened to be a rainy weekend when we were there, so we were grateful to have use of a kitchen, especially in the morning. The host was very responsive. Great restaurant for lunch one block away. Attractions in Amboise were an easy walk.

The room was as advertised. Small studio but organized well and fit our needs perfectly. The studio was very clean and in a good location close walking distance to Amboise. It was also very near the train station, which made coming and going easy. It had several items already provided such as a hair dryer and basic kitchen items. We initially had the wrong code to get they key out of the box but we reached out to the host and he responded incredibly fast with the code. Very impressed with his promptness! We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend!
