I was walking the Via Francigena and was beyond delighted with my Experience at Villa Meyriem. I enjoyed outstanding hospitality. I should add that the view from my bedroom was incredibly beautiful.

A quiet self contained studio flat nicely decorated with all that was needed for a night's sleep. Well organised, ideal for a couple.The location was good, in the centre of the village just off the main street making it very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is small but it works well, there is plenty of hot water, and it's good for a short stay. The host was responsive, friendly, and easy to contact. A good stay.

We arrived very late at night and even though the owner was so kind and gave us all the instructions beforehand. It is a lovely area, and the gite is just a great, cosy place.

The location in Pontarlier is useful.
It is close to numerous shops, bookshops, cafés and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at Restaurant La Pinte Comtoise just around the corner. It serves delicious food that is typical of the Jura region. We also visited the Château de Joux that is short drive away. There are absinthe distilleries nearby and there is a “route de l’absinthe” that can be followed.
The breakfast with a poached peach, homemade jams, bread and comté cheese is one of the best that we have had at a bed and breakfast.

Everything, the location the house, the decor and the owners and the lovely dog Salma. The room was very large and wonderfully decorated and the breakfast was very generous with lots of homemade jams to choose from.

Wonderfull and modern appartment. A joy to stay. It’s also a very quiet place where you will sleep well. The hosts are very friendly!
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Other than the location and view not much .This place is very run down no wifi in room sparsely furnished no meal available although meals advertised no lock on bedroom door no key
Please be aware that we have reported this hotel to the local Police as they take money from your card and make up lies as to why. Be very aware that the manager at this resort is agressive and not nice to deal with at all. I would NOT recommend staying here. It is a shame as the location & hotel is nice, it is just the management. Book with caution.
