The Accommodation was adjoining but separate from the owners house. We were allowed use of the breakfast room with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Edith also brought us some milk and butter as we had brought a picnic dinner for that evening. Breakfast was plentiful too.

The house and surroundings were stunningly beautiful. It felt incredibly peaceful in the middle of a forest. Our hosts were so friendly and joined us for breakfast. The gîte is very nicely done, very cosy and spacious. The garden is exceptional, with comfy seating areas. It is large and completely private, which was not evident from the property description. Nice spa facilities - sauna and massage (at extra cost). The area is very beautiful and very quiet. A lot of routes for hiking and cycling, nice river and a canal nearby, good for river fishing.
