The hosts are very friendly, they left lots of goodies for us and breakfast was really nice. The bed was incredibly comfortable, what a fantastic mattress!!!!!!
The hosts have a very cute dog. But our dog didn't want to play with her, however our labrador enjoyed the place immensely, she didn't want to leave.

Maison Fossemagne was amazing from the moment you open the door. The original stone floors, doors and beams are beautifully paired with the eclectic objet d’art that appear to reflect the owners’ excellent taste. The renovations are sympathetic to the building yet modern and spacious. Both Rob and Rini were very welcoming and willing to share their experiences of renovating the property, of the area and of buying property in France.

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location. Guillaume and Corinne were charming and helpful even though we arrived earlier than expected. Breakfast included raspberries just picked by Corinne from the garden.

Very hospitable welcome and a homely atmosphere. Plenty of hot water for the bathtub. We where able to park within a couple of metres from the front door. Good location for access to many areas. Nearby Niort has a great choice of restaurants.
Nice breakfast with homemade products.

We had the little cottage to ourselves. Quaint and lots of nice touches, eg a rose on the table, toothbrush in case you'd forgotten one. A fridge with drinks. Breakfast was brought to us in a basket. Homemade jams and fresh bread, coffee etc. More than you could eat.
We were able to make our own simple dinner as there was a microwave. Ideal for walkers.

Everything was excellent. The best place we have ever stayed for an overnight stay. The owners were very welcoming and absolutely everything was provided. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to our lovely room, croissants, rolls, coffee, cereals, fruit juice etc. The rural location was lovely with a donkey outside and otters by the stream. Ideal - very peaceful and countryside location. The lady host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, fresh croissants and rolls, selection of jams and coffee with juice and cereal, just what we needed to set us up the day. The little gite was clean, extra comfy bed and had excellent Wi-Fi . We would thoroughly recommend this lite gem and if we returned to the area we would not hesitate to book again.
