Thomas is excellent host! Very friendly, helpfull, hospitable and responded to our messages so quickly. Room is spacious, modern, great equipped and has a view of the meadow with cows and horses. Everything was clean. We could use fridge and all things in his kitchen. Just feel like in home. We had a place for our car. Perfect for overnighting. Thank you Thomas!

Nicolas is a very friendly, sympathetic and helpful host. Au Doux Refuge is a little paradise. It is nicer than a hotel! The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom nice and spacious and you have a terrace where you can enjoy peace and quiet, the stary sky and the sounds of the birds and other animals. Just perfect!

I recommend calling the owner fifteen minutes before coming to ask her about the direction - GPS gets it wrong and you have to use the way around. Once you get there, you'll know.
It's super-safe and really desolate, there's a place for your car and everything.
The house is really small but is enough for 2-4 people. Keep in mind that people with movement difficulty (who have problem with legs, back or are obese etc) might not get upstairs as the stairs are pretty steep and hard to reach.
The owner is really nice and helpful. There's also a dog on the premise which I personally liked but a girl in our group was scared of.
You can get to Lisieux in 10 minutes.
Taking in account the relation price-quality, I totally recommend.

The room was beautifully designed and decorated and it was super clean. Access was good, with a lift. The bathroom was smart and well designed, with a heated towel rail and a bath, which was a treat. The food in the restaurant was very good and good value for money.

the place is absolutely stunning! the cottage has a massive, beautiful garden with accede to the 10 hectares park of the castle. The location is calm, perfect to rest and enjoy the nearby towns and cliffs. The house itself is very clean and comfortable, on top of that the owners were extremely helpful and nice.
The location was super easy to find. Good proximity to road links, local services nearby. Gite was comfortable, garden was amazing, abundance of wildlife, hosts were next door if you needed anything or had any questions with the added bonus of being able to walk round the grounds which we did on many evenings after dinner. We loved it here.
