Florence, a wonderful hostess, took me in cold and wet from cycling in the rain. The bedroom is a part of her home with the bathroom across the hall.

Perfect halfway stop on way from Calais to Provence. Comfortable room for family of 4, double with bunks in small adjoining room. Welcoming hosts, excellent communal kitchen at guests disposal. Nivernais Canal over the road and small beach on the Yonne for river swimming. Very quiet location ensuring good night’s rest. Everyone enjoyed breakfast and we left re-energised for stage 2 of the journey.
