We loved our stay at Le Nichoir. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. We loved the room decor and it was so comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the animals and swimming in the pool. At night-time we were blown away by the beautiful stars and felt so lucky to hear an owl as we fell asleep. We stayed as a base to visit Puy du Fou, and it was perfect.

The location is stunning. Very remote, but easy to find. The owners have created a true haven for travellers. Breakfast is simple, but absolutely delicious, with fresh bread, brioche, pain perdu (french toast!), and a wide range of homemade preserves. The pool is lovely, and there are the most friendly dogs and cats on the property. I just loved everything about it. We also took the opportunity to have an evening meal, which was also delicious. I will definitely be a repeat visitor.
