Where to begin... a beautiful, romantic, rural and quiet spot. We're lucky to find this place. The bedroom and bathroom are great and nicely (a little boutique) decorated. The bed is good! (also for someone with back problems). You have direct acces to your own private big part of the garden where you can have a very good breakfast in the sun. There is a big covered veranda where you can sit outside hiding from the rain (which we hadden't) or sun. The garden has multiple sit/bed option to enjoy the views and sun. And the the hosts, Lisa and Paul. They were gave us a very warm welcome. Always in for a chat and for some good good tips for cycling/hiking routes and places for dinner. They have 3 beautiful dogs, which were kept from the guest part, but they were lovely. We'll definately return. It's a perfect place for a layover or a longer stay.

I was offered a drink in the garden on arrival. I liked the austerity of the building and the period decoration of the interior. The setup had not been modernised in a style which would negate the history held between these walls. The owner kindly offered me a much needed supper and we talked of local history and current times, and of film. I enjoyed breakfasting with the other guests at one big table in the hall and the breakfast itself was delicious.
Located in Le Grand-Madieu, Gîte vallée magique Panissaud provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. A hot tub is available for guests.

Well, maybe you'll find better places (depend of your preferences), but is hardly to find such people with such place. I'm glad that I chose this one. Location, facilities and breakfast are excellent. Go there and four hearts (two human and two dogs) will welcome you and made your stay warmly.
