The location was perfect to explore the city, the apartment was large and spotless with all the amenities we needed. Wish we could have stayed for longer.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location is excellent for seeing around the area. The pool area was nice, if a little tired. The house is pretty. The village is good as it has a butcher, restaurant, shop and a good bakery, all within walking distance! The countryside in the area is glorious and it’s a perfect location for viewing castles and visiting wine makers. We can’t fault any of that! Shame about what we didn’t like… and it’s worth mentioning we are fairly easily pleased!!
Amazing & spacious house in French countryside. 5 comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room with kitchen area, amazing Mediterranean garden, heated pool with very clean water, grill outside, picturesque view on the valley Everything you need for a absolutely wonderful vacation. Several beautiful chateaus & villages nearby. If you’re up to a longer drive there’s amazing Bioparc and all the greatest & biggest chateaus easily reachable as well. The communication with the owner was fast and easy.
The location is lovely and peaceful, the village is a modest walk, for boulanger, cafe, buchers and small shop. Good access to loire chateaux nearby and loire cycles paths. Fred is a good cheery host and Mocha the little dog is always happy to see you. We enjoyed watching the chickens and the little cat wander about the grounds. There is a private fenced in garden to relax and drink wine in the sun.
We loved the property, its location and the owners. Bertrand and Claire were wonderful hosts. We shared home cooked evening meals in their beautiful garden and had a great time all round.
This is the most beautiful house and gardens, it is a really special place to stay. The gardens are full of beautifullly planned planting, and we ate outside amidst the lavender and butterflies.

From the outside, everything is very attractive - a beautiful garden, a swimming pool, a building like a small castle or a bourgeois house. Great location, friendly hotel owners who speak English and German (a rare and valuable quality in France, where most people working in tourism, speak only French).
Beautiful building and grounds, with a very welcome swimming pool. We’re travelling with a dog and a great deal of luggage …. so a room up a spiral staircase wasn’t ideal, but very cool and spacious when we arrived.
