I booked last minute for a one night stopover. The accommodation is rural and rustic and perfect.
There is everything here that you need for a short stay or a longer holiday.
Very well equipped, a home from home. Near St Junien for shops, restaurants and bars. A great find.
The host was brilliant too, helped me to find somewhere to go to eat and even offered to feed me!

The owner Frank was very welcoming and showed me around the rooms and explained all the facilities. Very nice guy and we had a good chat about the local area.
Easy and pleasant walk next to the river to get to the pub and restaurant in the village.

Lovely recently renovated former schoolhouse
New,clean and lots of comforts, for example coffee maker, all the plates and kitchenware you might need.
Floors stunning oak renovation. Very warm rooms on a chilly April night. We were very comfortable.
Also a fabulous restaurant in the village with great ambience and home made pizzas.
Chirac is a gorgeous French small village.
Really great gifts. Top marks to the commune for such a lovely place.

Located in Saint-Junien, 36 km from Parc des expositions, Le SPA de l’Abbaye provides accommodation with a hot tub, spa facilities and an open-air bath.
Featuring a garden, private pool and lake views, La Petite Maison au bord de l’étang is set in Chirac. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
A French truck stop, but don't let that put you off. The food was magnificent and only €15 for an all you could eat starter buffet. Not a place for a romantic getaway but for 2 bikers on the French TET, we were astounded. Bit of a Travelodge feel to the rooms, clean, functional and cheap. There was one lady diner in the restaurant, but 30 blokes.
