Breakfast was brilliant. We even cooked our own breakfast . Claire was very kind to accomodate that for us. SHe even took us around to the river side and we had glass of wine with her firend by the river. Overall it was an awesome feel @ home experience with Claire. Love you Claire ! Great location just off the cycle path, in a pretty village just opposite an ancient church. Friendly service with superb food. Luckily they offered an evening meal option which was great as not many places open on Sundays...tricky if you arrive on bikes. The food was of the highest standard and the service was Friendly with a great ambiance. They also had a secure lock up for our bikes.

The photos show absolutely element of this lovely place and yet the parts do not really reveal the absolute brilliance of the whole. This place is stunning. A beautiful country manor in a really beautiful village in the Loire. It is pretty much equidistant between Blois and Loire but that is not the only great thing about the location. Montlivault is a gem of a village tucked away on the southern bank of the Loire. It has its own Michelin starred restaurant as well as a lovely boulangerie and epicerie and another restaurant. Oh and the pool and it’s pool house and bar are spectacular. Oh and the gym is great. Really lovely place to be. I also absolutely loved the decoration - not just comfortable (and it really was) but beautiful hand painted wallpaper and well picked furniture.
