Situated in a quiet village within easy reach of the A26 motorway, this was the perfect place for a stopover on our way back to Calais. Upon arrival, it was lovely to be able to have a nice drink in the garden. Aga is the perfect hostess : The care that she takes in all aspects is self evident and her multilingual skills are truly amazing- fluently switching between English and French (made all the more impressive by the fact that Aga is originally from Poland). Both the breakfast and evening meal were fantastic and the whole stay was very good value. If we ever need a place to stay in that part of France again, then La Besace will definitely be our preferred choice.

Maison Seraphine is centrally located and near to restaurants and the cathedral. Parking is just outside though the road can be busy. The rooms in this wonderful old house have been imaginatively and carefully restored . The views were amazing over the countryside surrounding Laon. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and Pierre was most welcoming.

We booked here because we had already stayed at the Domaine De Barive a month before and wanted to try this place. However, as soon as we booked we were called and told we would stay at the Domaine instead. I think that they use this place as a sort of overflow. At the Domaine we were given a much nicer room than the previous time. On Booking a night at each place that night cost the same except at the Priuré breakfast was included, so we stayed in the Domaine with breakfast and were very happy. It is a very nice place. By the way the prices at these two places vary a lot depending on the night in question.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The accommodation was in a great location for getting Paris. There was lots of bars and cafes and you could to attractions like Notre Dame from the hotel. There was also a metro very near to the hotel
Lovely staff, excellent evening meal. Lots of hot water and very clean bathroom. Close-ish to motorway and to Laon, set in pleasant countryside with interesting history.
Location. Very convenient for overnight stay. Although there were no staff available when we arrived, our room key was left for us in reception and we were able to find our room and settle in.
the location is very good, quiet and easy to reach from the motorway. The private parking is very secure. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, possibly the absolute best thing about the hotel, together with the delicious compotes served for breakfast. Very clean bathrooms.
