The location was perfect for our purpose to visit the WWII beaches of Normandy and visit some museums and the American cemetery and memorial. Stefan and his wife, Marie were very cordial and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, with locally obtained fruits; peaches, apples, oranges and more. We were able to have fresh local eggs cooked to order as well as homemade apple juice, yogurt and jams. The jams for the croissants and crusty breads were amazing. We purchased two to bring back with us. Our king size bed was more comfortable than what we have at home and everything was clean and provided with a great deal of thought for decor and quality. Such a lovely place to return to after a long day of touring the area.

Great location for access to Caen before our trip home after holiday in Burgundy. The chateau is beautiful and located in a pretty town and we intend to return. Franck was welcoming and very helpful. Great breakfast too!

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Well equipped and clean accommodation. A little bit remote location however, it’s not an issue if you travel by car. We’ve stayed for two nights exploring the area and were really satisfied with this place.
After reading a lot of negative comments, my expectations where really low, but I think that this place is decent, not superb, but everything was clean, calm location, nice staff, good breakfast.
Was really surprised with the Chateau and the Irish staff were fantastic!! Breakfast was really good and the location perfect for exploring Normandy. Will definitely visit again!!!
