The owners were friendly. The car was parked safely off the road. We ate our breakfast outside under a sun shade. There was a very good restaurant around the corner and Chaumont was only a short drive away.

Location is perfect for exploring Amboise. In an area where parking is scarce, to have secure parking on site is a big bonus. We had a full car (we were only staying 2 nights on route to our final destination) and 4 bikes on the roof so we wanted somewhere with private parking and this ticked all the boxes. It was in a quiet area and great bonus of watching the hot air balloons each night at sunset.

Mathilde was just amazing. She has such a bright smile and makes you feel so warm and welcome. The location is in an adorable little town and it feels so calm and peaceful. You do need a car or bike to get groceries, but well worth it. Her breakfast is lovely and communicating with her is a breeze. The apartment was sparkling clean and very cute. Would happily stay here again!
Mathilde and Benjamin were wonderful hosts, went out of their way to be helpful and gracious in every possible manner. Mathilde has a beautiful sense of taste as seen in the decor and a lovely common room for multiple guests to share. The fireplace in the common room made the rainy weather outside vanish. The internet (new, fiberoptic) was super fast, a refreshing contrast to other locations we have visited. We will stay there again the next time we visit the Loire valley!
