we stayed in huge Napoleon III suite with excellent view from the top of the hill.
breakfast was very good (cheeses, hamon, baguets, croissants, eggs, tee/coffee/juice etc)
hosts are very friendly and helped us with local restaurants
property has big horse stables building converted into bar - it looks very authentic.
first floor is used as a museum where visitors can take tours (for people who are staying it is free).
we visited few chateaus and this is the biggest one, located in the small town

Site was on the outskirts of two very nice villages no more than 7 minutes by car. Accommodation was fine for my family with the bonus of a BBQ so cooked dinner on the decking. It was quiet during our stay
