The bungalow was small but had all the basic things. it didn't have A/C, but it had a fan. You can also park just next to it.

We stayed here twice, once on the way to our final holiday destination. And once on our way back home. Both times we were greeted by the friendly host and hostess.
We were traveling as two adults with two small children (2y and 5y) and had a very specious family suite. With comfortable beds. Airconditioning was available in our room, which was a welcome surprise as the weather was very warm in July.
Our children also loved to interact with the dogs and cat that roamed in the spacious garden.

The hotel was easy to locate with plenty of on site parking on the outskirts of Chagny but was within reasonable walking distance. Friendly helpful staff and an excellent restaurant offering something a little different. The double room was of a reasonable size and well equipped with all the usual ensuite facilities.

Fantastic location, just steps from the main square! There is a good local supermarket less than 5 minutes walk, a fabulous charcuterie selling locally produced foods and multiple bars and restaurants and places to sample Burgundy wines.
The gite had every comfort and had been beautifully restored. The shower had good water pressure, the kitchen had great fittings - fridge oven, full hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher (and lots of plates and glasses and cuttlery).
The bed was very comfortable and the black-out blind made a big difference to keeping the heat out of the bedroom.
We found it very easy to park in the street outside the gite each time we went out. And the gite itself is set back from the road - so it is very peaceful.

This property only does bed and breakfast and there appears to be nowhere much in the village to buy food or eat out so, we suggest eating before you arrive, perhaps in Beaune or buying some picnic food to have at the property. This is a very comfortable property which is several centuries old. It has character and is furnished to a very high standard with good quality decoration. The host speaks very good English and he informed us that the property has been in the ownership of his family since it was built.
The en suite bathroom is very modern whilst the bedroom has the character associated with the rest of the property.
Breakfast is typically French; fruit juice, coffee, mixed breads, ham, cheese, yoghurts and home made jams and honey.

Really welcoming hosts, we were on a long road trip so were very grateful that we could arrive a little earlier than the check in time and use the pool.
On first impressions, not only were the hosts very welcoming but the setting is idyllic. Set in a small hamlet not too far from Beaune and on the Burgundy wine route, it's a great location. Beautiful and well kept pool in a stunning garden with amazing views. We were also able to order wine by the pool which was served with some delicious complementary charcuterie.
Our room was spacious and styled sensitively to it's surroundings, it felt very "classy" and at the same time very homely with everything you could need.
We had the evening meal which was delicious and probably one of the nicest meals we'd had all holiday. Served in a family style environment, we enjoyed a complementary aperitif with our hosts and fellow guests. We were given the option to dine with our fellow guests which we thought was a great idea, so we shared a lovely evening with some fellow travellers over dinner and local wine. We are English so we particularly enjoyed the company of the French guests who were able to give us advice and tips for our onward journey.
After a very peaceful and restful nights sleep (very comfy bed and linen) breakfast was served on the terrace in the same area as dinner. Lots of choice, all home made, fresh and locally sourced.
We were sad to leave after only one night and wished that we had booked in more! Would definitely recommend to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

The accommodation is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday but the host also offers a cooked evening meal, which was excellent, and a good breakfast for those staying overnight. It is located in a pretty, quiet village between Meursault and the Montrachets so is ideal for those interested in wine and visiting Beaune. Lovely little appartment in great location. Town was on doorstep and we enjoyed cycling along the canal. Appartment was very well equipped, cosy and warm. Bed was comfortable and appartment was very quiet as back from the street. Really enjoyed our stay.
