Christopher is a true gentleman. He knows everything of everything, even his marmelade is better than José who has a restaurant down the road. Frederique is a wonderfull woman. Warm and friendly. The house is a very special place. You can feel the history the moment you come through the frontdoor, and become a part of it. The brother of Christopher occasionally visits and he is the funny one. He is sometimes very present, but if you make him laugh he is your friend forever. His jokes are the best on whole of Corse.. shiva the dog is an old soul. She watches over the house and its inhabitants. To visit La Marlotte is a true experience. It will make your life richer. Dont wait too long and make a reservation there. There is no time like the present!.

Allthough the location of the appartment was beautifil high up in the mountains in a very quiet village, we were disappointed
about the time to check in ( 1700 !!! hours) , the absence of Wi-Fi , the wellcoming and when we checked out on time (10.30 hours) we received a mail 5 minutes later to remind us to check out on time so the cleaning lady could do her job.

Absolutely stunning! The location is incredible, you couldn’t wish for a more beautiful Mountain View. The food and wine is amazing and Jerome was a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!

Everything!!! It's a magical place where you can spend your peaceful vacation. Hosts were very nice and helpful. There's a swimming pool that you can use. Our house was very well equipped, we had everything we needed. Even barbecue was there that we could use. Great terrace where we ate our meals with a beautiful sea view, just amazing. Just perfect place to spend time! I really recommend it! I hope I can go there once again!

Beautiful house in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by lush forest and fascinating views. Well equipped, large setup, nice furniture, super comfy beds.
The pool and facilities at the castle/hotel where very comfortable and accomodating. Also enjoyed a nice lunch on the castle terrace. The people were friendly and accomodating.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.

Great location for easy access to many areas and not far from the airport. Easy check in/out although details for access could have been messaged as opposed to needing to phone.
Our stay in this incredibly well-renovated space was just amazing. The hosting couple is accommodating, witty, respectful and kind. The location is great for exploring the chestnut woods, hiking, swimming in waterfalls, or having an afternoon coffee in one of the small cafés in nearby towns.
We spent several evenings just watching the sun set over the mountains.
And can we talk about the breakfast? Such a lovely experience. We’re already matching our calendars to make sure we can return soon!

Loved the remote location amongst the mountains (although it's actually just 40mins drive from Bastia airport, so was great for our final night's hol), the stylishly quirky but functional decor and big size of our Sultana suite, plus the warm friendly welcome from our hosts.
