It's a little outside of the centre, but the better for it (not least because parking is so expensive), and easy to walk into town (20 mins) or catch and bus/tram from. Lovely owner who gave us loads of great information (there is a sheet with local and central restaurants). Great room with a garden view, very clean and with good furnishings and bathroom. There is a safe, a fridge and a kettle. Would go again without a doubt. They obviously put a lot of love and care into the place.

The location is good if you want to take advantage of the free city-wide public transportation on weekends, with bus stop only 100yds. It took approximately 45 minutes to get to city centre (bus + tram) but you don't have to worry about finding and paying for parking, etc, (or drinking if so inclined).
Breakfast was very limited. Hot water for tea wasn't hot!!
The location was easy to get to, the chateau and staff were lovely, the pool was great and we had the 4 course tasting menu which was excellent together with the wine pairing. We also had the voyagers menu one night this was a little limited for our taste but the portions were good size and the food nice. We also had a special desert from the chateau for our wedding anniversary which was a nice touch. The room was lovely and bed comfy but definitely needed the aircon which was quite efficient.
Very clean and comfortable, good location, easy to get into the city. We were here on a weekend when the buses don’t run, but all trams around the city are free at weekends and easy to navigate.
