Arrived very early (walking the Via Francigena) so on foot with backpacks- we only wanted to leave our backpacks but since the one restaurant in town was not open, the owner agreed to let us check in very early AND served us lunch! This was far above and beyond what we had experienced on our month of walking- the place on the old Mill is breathtakingly beautiful and the reasonably new owners are excellent hosts!

Good value for money, clean and close to the euro tunnel. Always struggle to find somewhere reasonably priced for a family of 5, but we booked 2 rooms and they were cheap and more than cheerful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stop over post or pre ferry/shuttle journey; perfect location; 20 mins to shuttle. Staff were friendly and happy to accommodate our young family; waiter in the restaurant working that evening was very friendly and attentive; food was nice, but we were overtired from long journey to sit and enjoy. If you’re looking for a nice place to stop over, look no further; cannot fault it. Thank you for accommodating us 😊

The manager was so bubbly, friendly and just such a welcoming person. The site was nice and small, shame they don't serve food but the restaurant the manager gave us was 8min drive and good price. It was just like a British caravan site but better because of the sunshine. Beach was half hour drive away which wasn't too bad, beautiful country views along the way

Charming helpful host. Great location, a picturesque easy run from Calais and a good base for exploring. Although not visible from the property, there was a sizeable supermarket less than 150 yards away making life very simple! Well presented and immaculately clean with lovely outside space.
