The building is a cascina as we say in Italian. I was in the blue door apartment. There were 2 awkward bulky steps to enter which with knee replacements I found difficult. The property was very Italian in style. Bottle of Kruger on the table with cookies on the pillow. Just like in Italy where in a baita the last person would replace the bottle of wine. Steps down to the bedroom which were steep for me and a step into bath. I had to sit on towels to swing my legs over. Hand held shower. Overall quite charming and very un-French. Probably because the host that met me was German. Everywhere I stay in France is always horrid so this gets a good rating. It is a mountain village and all the properties will be converted farmhouses or hay rooms therefore the ceilings are low and multi use of buildings. Very traditional buildings and clever conversion of old animal and hay rooms. Would recommend but not for people with walking disabilities, Dogs welcome.

Alexander was very welcoming and his house is amazing with a fabulous view. It's a eco house and we found it very interesting to talk with Alexander about its construction. The shared kitchen is well equipped and the house is beautifully decorated and clean. it's worth noting that the living room, kitchen and terrace are shared with guests renting the second room and that when we stayed Alexander greeted us to explain everything but then went away overnight.

Very friendly and attentive welcome. The rooms are simple but spacious and equipped with all facilities. We enjoyed a very delicious dinner with fresh local products and a well-prepared breakfast. The owner was very caring and friendly. Nice place to stay after a long trip and an excellent location for discovering the region and its beautifull nature nearby.
A lovely apartment, very clean and well equipped, everything what you need. It was easy to find even in the evening darkness. Very peaceful quiet location and still close to many beautiful scenes for daytrips. We spent there four nights but could have enjoyed even longer stay.
Our host was very welcoming, helpful, available and a great cook!. Great breakfast and dinner. Bar also available on site. Good location in a cute little village, not far from the Cirque de Navacelle. Great stay.
