Jean Marcs’ breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choices in a nice dining area. The setting is lovely and you can walk through the vineyard. There is an aura of staying in an old vineyard. The accommodation in renovated outbuildings is very smart, clean,large and comfortable. The use of the spa and sauna was an added treat.

The owner was very nice and kind.

We arrived at Chateau de Seguin and were told we would not be able to make use of the pool as the pool was booked by a private group staying at the castle and moreover there was a group of italian tourists, so we were offered to stay at their sister property. A lovely man organised everything for us and we had the very best time at this other property.

Once again our stay at La Closerie was excellent. Our host cooked us a very nice evening meal and the breakfast was delicious.

We loved the building, it’s full of character. The rooms are tastefully decorated & comfortable. The setting on the banks of the Dordogne was peaceful & beautiful. The owner Jean-Charles was so helpful. As the property is a bit remote so we emailed ahead for restaurant recommendations, which were returned promptly. That was a big help as we arrived quite late.

The location is amazing and this cozy accomodation had everything we needed after 11 hours driving from Portugal: good bed, good shower and free parking. The breakfast was awesome with fresh bread, juices, home made omelette and pancakes. The coffee was good.

Clear communication before and throughout our 1 night stay. Very personable owner. Sadly we only had 1 night. Stunning location which we were only able to see in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely touch with a bottle of wine in the room. We were able to buy more wine which was available in the dinning area which we were able to use in the evening. Fridge also for our use. The breakfast in the morning was incredible. Best breakfast I’ve ever had..
Irina and her son were very welcoming and friendly. The house was spotless. We loved the large collection of DVD and big screen and very comfortable sofas. It is in a good location with a car, as it is close to the road between Bordeaux and Libourne. It is also very close a a very good golf course.
The location is perfect from Bordeaux and many wineries. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with lots of space and nice air con. The jacuzzi was lovely and great after a days travelling.
