Location literally couldn't have been better - we were just a stone's throw from the Basilica and the Museum of the Somme. The apartment is small, but perfect for two. There's everything you need in the kitchen if you want to make a meal and you can sit out in the garden to eat it if you choose to although there are also stools and a bar top in the kitchen. Large bathroom with two shower options. Combination sitting room and bedroom with sofa and table. Well laid out and amazing value for money. While I am on, can I also recommend the Watteau patisserie at the top of the road and Meli Veloes on Rue Carnoy where we hired a couple of e-bikes to visit the surrounding area.

its a very good location for exploring the battlefields ,very close to shops we have stayed here many times over years it's one our favourite spots to stay very helpful lovely family cany do enough to help you
Location, owners daughters were lovely and friendly as was the neighbour on shared drive. The building is in the process of being pointed - very well incidentally. The entire property has masses of potential sadly don’t think this owner is interested in achieving even half of that. I was left with the distinct impression that he is in it to make most money minimal effort or consideration for the renters safety or comfort.
The house was fully equipped, the Kitchen is all that is required. It was very nice to have an upstairs toilet (the stairs being a wee bit steep) but the downstairs bathroom was marvelous. The shower was something of note.
The house also is equipped with a wood burner, which (in November) was VERY welcome. The owner kept us WELL supplied with wood which kept us warm and snug.
