This B&B is located north of the crossing of A89 and D118, along the narrow route des Quartieres. Location is in the middle of the countryside, with no noisy traffic nearby. The building was originally the bath house to an 1800´s SPA hotel and has its own well. The building has been carefully and tastefully re-modelled to incorporate a few rooms for the B&B. Our room had a high quality bed and a very modern bathroom with shower, tiled with marble. There is also an outside pool.
There are peacocks, duck and chicken, a dog and several cats, all very friendly and well-behaved.
The owners are very accommodating and caring and we felt warmly welcome. English, German and French is spoken.
The breakfast was absolutely top notch with home baked bread, locally made youghurt and jam, fresh eggs and freshly pressed juice! This is a place we warmly recommend!! Do not miss out on this one.

Very friendly reception throughout our stay. The room and en suite facilities as new. Evening meal (including hot main course and wine) and copious breakfast just right for a winter overnight stay. Car parking close to the room. Wifi worked well.

We really enjoyed those days in Montclair. The couple, who runs that place, is super kind and they tried to do everything to make us happy. The breakfast was so good!! They served a lot of tasty cheese, fruits, homemande Croissants, marmalade and other delicious things.
We were upgraded to a better room and it kinda felt like you sleep in a princess room. We really liked that they kept the old (and romantic) feeling of the domain.
When you travel by car, the location is great! You are on top of a mountain and if you walk at the end of the garden you‘ll have an amazing view.
They also grow grapes for red wine and sell / serve it to you when ever you‘d like - and it tasted so good. (They also sell white wine for those who rather drink white wine)
We were almost sad to go.. so we can just recommend to stay there- you won‘t regret it

Room was spacious, location beautiful and staff attentive but not overbearing. Would have liked to stay longer as it was so beautiful. Very romantic, not one for kids I would say. Very dog friendly too!
The pictures did not do this justice at all. The location and property are so picturesque. If you want a relaxing stay near Lyon, stay here. I will go out of my way to come back. Additionally, Alexandra was one of the best hosts we have ever had. She went above and beyond and was extremely friendly without being intrusive. What a gem.
Great location amongst the grape vines. Quirky . Work in progress as adding more to the property. Had a menu to choose from for dinner, then had it delivered to our room with a bottle of local wine that was lovely cooked. Gael the owner was nice and passionate about the property he is restoring. Had fab breakfast .
Situated in a very nice location as part of Relais & Château. Ideal for both family and couple getaways. Hotel has both old and new hotel section, with many facilities. Restaurant is located in central hall with a beautiful central fireplace… a must see!
Alex, the host, is amazing. She is very thoughtful and also a great guide. No words can express how amazing the facilities are. The room is lovely and we managed to truly rest in the comfortable bed. The facilities (i.e. bubble bath, shower, room breakfast area) are also very clean. We are thankful that Alex helped us find a place to pick up food when we arrived late in the evening. She even set up a nice dining space in the garden where we enjoyed our food with a beautiful view. Thanks again Alex for hosting us! We will definitely come back!
