Perfect location for a stop over either coming or going from Le Shuttle. Wonderful breakfast as usual, this was our fourth visit. Parking outside the room and Ardres just a short walk away. Host was as welcoming as ever.

We have visited many times and hopefuly will continue to return. We usually book for 2 nights, so that we can get a break between driving through France (largely pleasurable) and the horrendous prospect of driving to the North of England on largely inadequate and hopelessly overcrowded English roads. Breakfast and dinner are available but we prefer to use the well-equiped kitchen to prepare something when we feel like it. Wonderfully relaxing rural retreat.

An absolutely amazing place; everything is new and clean.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Nice rural location within 30 minutes drive of the Channel Tunnel. Parking easy. Clean, well presented, comfortable rooms. We were met on arrival so check in was easy. Very quiet and comfortable beds. Very good value for money.
Lovely quiet location. Great surprise to find a pool table in the garage and garden chairs to relax in when the sun was out.
Lots of room for us all to spread out.
The property was great value and was just what we need to break our journey. The kids loved the cows in the field behind the property.
The property is in a quiet location
This is our second stay at la Hulotte au Col Haut and like the first time we were delighted with our stay. We only stayed over night on 2 occasions but the location for us is ideal as not far from the motorway.
Our children loved the breakfast there (it is fantastic!) and I suspect wanted to go back mainly for this reason :)
The hosts are lovely and very accommodating, the place is clean and beds confortable, it is very quiet so we could rest properly before tackling the rest of our journey. We will definitely consider going back.
