A wonderful, very characterful, and charming retreat. The host could not have been more helpful, attentive and kind. To have breakfast in a cave was a real treat.

We had a very comfortable overnight stay in this beautiful place, with a lovely breakfast on the terrace in the morning.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. The owner Tim was really friendly. He has lovingly restored an Old Mill and it was a joy to stay there. I can highly recommend a stay there
Loved the location with the river and sluices. Loved Tim’s enthusiasm for his projects and the work that he still has to do. Great idea to have frozen meals that tired cyclists can use to save a long evening ride to a restaurant. And breakfast on the terrace listening to the frogs was very good
