Serge and Sarah are very nice hosts; comfortable room; excellent breakfast; quiet and restful location; the chateau is charmingly and painstakingly restored and decorated; would certainly stay here again.

This was my first Bed & Breakfast experience. Rita was extremely welcoming, and and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. The room was quite large, with a comfortable separate seating area. There was no detail overlooked in the room including a large Evain bottle of water, coffee and tea, great candy.....The space was immaculate, with plush towels and high quality soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, and very generous. I would definately stay here again.

Great character building with a good swimming pool area and courtyard to eat outside. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We cycled around the area which was very scenic. There is a lake not far away with a good cafe doing tasty lunches.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The location and hosts were brilliant, the chateau is stunning as are the grounds and the area. We were greeted on arrival and told some history of the chateau and then shown to our room which had everything we needed for a one night short stop. We attended a fete in a nearby village later on which again was a great introduction to the area. We were also given a takeaway breakfast the morning we left as we had to get on the road early, was nice to meet a fellow Leeds member of staff the next morning as well.
Ted and Lisa have done a great job in restoring this 13 century chateau- a unique environment in a wonderful location.. Lisa is a great cook and Ted an attentive host- both ably supported by Mandy. The whole team made us feel very welcome and both our dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good.
It was an excellent location for sightseeing and Lesa and Ted are charming and friendly hosts. The 12th century chateau is fascinating and has been sympathetically restored. In the kitchenette, the mini oven was excellent and far better than microwaves which are often provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great location and nice outdoor seating areas.
Lots of character throughout and finished to a high standard.
Less and Ted were great hosts and we enjoyed the music night.
The bucolic setting of this historical monument was perfect for getting away from it all, and a nice location to set off from for day trips around the area. The room, with it's stone walls and HUGE beams was fantastic. The hosts were warm, friendly people who seemed to have thought of everything that you may need. Such a delight!
historic property in perfect location on route to/from Caen . quite and tranquil yet near a main route to the south/north . beautifully finished in every detail . secure parking.
The breakfast was not to my taste and was overpriced for what was provided. An buffet would have been better.
The location is situated on a busy road and if you are looking for a quiet holiday it mught be a problem.
incredibly accommodating hosts, Lesa and Ted made our stay a real pleasure. Saturdays evening meal made all the more special with Ted doing a 2 hour music set at the outdoor restaurant. The suite was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Being an ancient monument it was full of character will definitely be staying again.
