The Chateau de Vaugelas is a wonderfully mad, rambling house filled with curios collected from generations of travel. A beautiful old French style estate with peacocks roaming the gardens and two gentle giant dogs, the experience is more like a home-stay than a classic BnB. Our guest room and bathroom were beautifully newly renovated and very characterful. The owners are very charming and looked after us very well. We were encouraged to enjoy the garden and pool and were served a delicious breakfast outside on the lawn in the morning.

Beautiful location, very charming and very warm, friendly host and hostess. With the peacocks in the garden you will feel like you are on holiday in no time. An excellent place to spend the night. We will definitely go back! many thanks
We stayed at the B&B Hotel Valence on our way and it clearly exceeded our expectations. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was quiet enough for a good night of rest. Parking access was well organised. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We recommend this place to travellers.
Arrived Sunday afternoon.asked foe disabled room which I was given but very poor standard. curtains hanging off window. We have stayed at Ibismany times before this .was the worst ever It was supposedly Ibis Styles. Not even as good as some budget Syyles we have stayed at.There was not any bar area for drinks The restaurant was. Very poor. Food awful staff miserable.
A really interesting old building, full of character and history, in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views. Such welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble – we felt like we were staying with friends.
