We spent four nights at this charming little hotel in the sleepy little village of Tornos near the famous Laguna de Gallocanta. The room (superior double) was spacious, newly remodeled and very comfortable. We had a room to the back with a beautiful view of the mountains and the Castillo de Tornos. The hotel was very quiet, but I think we were the only guests there. January is a quiet month, we were told. The internet was very good. The food was delicious and considering the fact that there were no other restaurants near, we were very lucky. The breakfast (not included) was simple, no buffet. We enjoyed our stay very very much and spent a great deal of time exploring the astonishing nature of Aragon, and we visited Zaragoza and Teruel, which both are worth visiting and not too far away. All in all a wonderful stay at a recommendable and affordable place!

It is very difficult to find Tornos from the road to Zaragosa. This is definitely budget, with rooms above a tavern/cafe. The noise outside was so bad the owner did move me, as requested beforehand, to a quiet room for the seoncd night. That was good. I did get free hot water for my tea in the morning, not breakfast.

What a find in this gem of a hotel. Their pub is a central gathering place of the village and the locals were extremely kind and accepting although my Spanish very poor. We had dinner in the restaurant of good home cooked Spanish cuisine with a house red. The bed was comfortable, plentiful hot water, standard Spanish breakfast. The village location in Teruel is lovely. Hope we can return one day.
