Excellent hosts - explained everything and made sure we were happy, It is a lovely place to stay and in an excellent location just a couple of minutes from the main area. Really well fitted out and everything had been thought of. A real pleasure to stay there and such good value for money too.

The property was quite isolated, but was a short drive from a small village. Beautiful situation in countryside. Friendly reception & good restaurant with good menu. Rooms spotless. Quirky but welcoming.

The convent has been tastefully converted to modern standards of comfort whilst maintaining much of the original character of the building. The location is easy to access from the motorway and the location is very tranquil.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We have stayed at this hotel before which speaks for itself. It is conveniently situated near the autoroute in a quiet and picturesque location. We use it as an over-night stop before boarding the Santander Ferry. Its architecture is innovative-essentially a modern hotel within a ruined convent. It has a separate well stocked bar and the principal staff are pleasant and accommodating. Although there was no A/C our ground floor room was cool and comfortable. Parking on site in the open but secluded.
The whole place had a real homely feel and the location/grounds were stunning. Although no English was spoken (or Spanish by us) we managed to communicate well enough using Google
lovely historic building, sensitively and stylishly converted. helpful staff and outstanding cafeteria where we ate in the evening. ideal quiet stopover between Bilbao and Leon. the delicious squash grown in the garden we were given to takeaway.
We have stayed at this wonderful hotel before and will stay again. Its in a quiet location, very stylish and for the most part and usually excellent in every way. Very nice personable staff
The location was perfect for us on the way to Santander Ferry and was so easy to find. The staff were fabulous and there was a cafeteria and restaurant plus wonderful gardens. We had a meal and the steak was perfectly cooked. The room was spotless.
