As Brits, we expected the hostal to be of similar quality as a hostal in UK ... ie not as good quality as an hotel. We have now been informed that the exact opposite is the case here in Spain ... perhaps the booking sites should mention that in their English sites. The only improvement we could suggest for the room would be another chair and a desk or table.

Our host was friendly and helpful person. Despite the language barrier it was easy to communicate. Location of the property is very good - in the town center, grocery shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. The property was spacious and clean. There is all kitchenware you need. Great value for money. There is a convenient metro line to Valencia city center.
