We really enjoyed our stay in El Torreón. The house was quite spacious, clean and well-equipped. The host, Carla is very friendly. It is a good base if you want to explore the Trubia valley or make trips to cities such as Áviles, Gijón or Oviedo. There is a good supermarket near the house. Bike rental is also feasible within walking distance.

Great location just outside the village, easy walking distance. Very quiet. A few shops, bars, restaurants, everything necessary. Easy by bus from Oviedo. The proprietor was so welcoming. He prepared our evening meal personally and it was truly delicious - couldn't have asked for better. A wonderful host. The village is really interesting and old...would have liked more time to explore but, sadly, we had to continue our journey. Our little dog was happy too!!

Good and cheap breakfast; very helpful staff who were able to advise on places to visit. Central location overlooking the town square but not too noisy. The room was very spacious and well equipped.
