Perfect place for our holiday. The apartment was very relaxing, with everything we needed to feel at home. Ample parking nearby but be careful of narrow streets.
Ruth, our host, was fantastic, she was so accommodating and provided great recommendations for activities and places to eat where we could enjoy authentic tapas. The town itself is charming, with the sound of church bells ringing throughout the day adding to the atmosphere.
There is a local train station serving the main cities in Catalonia and we enjoyed spending time at the swimming pool in the centre of the village.
Cal Maginet is set in the Medieval village of Vilaverd, 5 km from Montblanc. Built in 1605, it offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional restaurant, serving seasonal local food and wines.

The location was easy to fin. Parking was available and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The bed was comfortable, the shower tiny but functional. Sadly no tea/coffee-making facilities. The view from the balcony was amazing and hiking was plentiful.
The welcome is very warm. Mercedes the owner is so hospitable and kind. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean . The food is fabulous. Very good local dishes .And the view is fabulous. Extra points for lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Great little restaurant and bar . The Host even made an early coffee every day specially as we were attending a conference an needed an early start.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. Lovely view from the window. The room is ok and the bed is quite comfortable. Great breakfast, but dinner was very mediocre. A nice young gentleman serves the guests.
