What a beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings. An amazing place to completely switch off and relax. The staff couldn't have been lovelier and really make you feel welcome. The food also incredibly delicious and reasonably priced considering the quality. A real treat and a great find and even more beautiful than the photos! Oh and the sunsets spectacular.

We LOVED the garden and were appreciative of the use of the washing machine and washing line. The kitchen had all the basics that we needed. The apartment entrance was stunning and the Master bedroom. There was a swimming pool, unfortunately I wasn't brave enough to use it! Too cold.

Stunning location, fantastic facilities, wonderful design and attentive and caring staff. The food was spectacular and Pinar and Juan wouldn’t have done more for us. I left feeling nurtured energised and inspired. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The location was spectacular amid the mountains of Extremadora, the hotel was relatively new and the care and attention to comfort and style exemplary. The infinity swimming pool overlooking the mountains with pool service was so very peaceful and relaxing. We’ve stayed in many luxury hotels and this was amongst the best. Excellent value for money.
Hotel Leo is friendly and spotless. It has a good café and restaurant at the side and ample parking. It's a very good stop-off place from which to explore Monesterio and the wider area.
This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The grounds and flowers are lovely. There are many tranquil spots to sit and admire the views, enjoy a drink and chill. There is an especially enjoyable panorama from the infinity pool.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant.

Stopped for one night on my way through to Portugal. Chose El Pilar for the location and pet policy (dogs allowed). Upon my arrival I was delighted to find a very charming well presented hostal. My single room was simple and perfectly clean with a window to a pedestrianised side street and it's own small bathroom. One has to be grateful that places like this still exist for the budget-conscious traveler because one day they won't.
