Amazing place. We loved everything there. The apartment itself is not very big, but it is well equipped and has everything you need and even more. The place is amazing, the view is amazing. There is a private parking and also a nice indoor swimming pool.

The location was fabulous. We were within the majestic scenery. We spent a lot of the time sitting on the terrace looking either down the gorge or up to the rocky ridges. It came with a parking space, which is a premium in Masca. The parking space was also secure and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool after a hot day's walk. Pedro was also very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Charming, well ecquiped house surrounded by mountains. It was quite windy and cold outside, when we visited in December, but the heater worked well.

We had a really good stay! Both the house and the location in Masca Valley is better than what can be expressed in the pictures. Claudia was very helpful and a great host! You need a car and a to be a fairly confident driver to get up and down the mountain but it's totally worth it in terms of beauty, calm and for the perfect mix of isolation and restaurants and cafés of the center of the Masca village, only 5-10 mins away on foot. Highly recommended!

Masca when tourists go away is so quiet... After a while we noticed that we are whispering to not couse a noise. You can relax on the tarrace with the wine and contemplate views. Even looking at cars on switchback road allows to unwind. Our accommodation was around 100m from the tourist point view - but we have even better views :D Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were in separate small buildings next each other - it was not a problem because when we close the gate no one could get in (steep sloppe and lot of prickly pear).

We had a truly amazing stay at Casatarucho. As other reviews mention, the views and location are breathtaking and it's one of the most unique places I've ever stayed in. It's so peaceful and it's a fantastic location for stargazing with the lack of light pollution. The facilities at the house are great: you have everything you need for cooking, great beds, bathroom etc. The welcome from the host was super friendly and communication throughout the stay was perfect - they were able to answer any questions and solve any problems super quickly. Driving up to the property is not for the faint hearted: it's a mountainous place so the roads are narrow and windy, especially leading up to the house itself, but it is 100% worth it.

If you're looking for a good place to start a climb on Teide, this is the spot. Very cute little hotel with everything you could ever need located about 1k elevation.

The accommodation is in an old, newly renovated, house, with own patio and outer space. It is very nice and atmospheric. We were there in January, when it was fogy and bit rainy in the evenings, which was nice and mystic, but if you are seeking winter escape, the coast gets sunnier weather. On the other hand, there was a fireplace, which we used every evening while drinking wine (some of which provided as a gift by the owner). There are about three full day hiking trails starting from the village, very nice local restaurants nearby and grocery shops, so you can easily spend there several days.
