Thé loveliest, kindest, most attentive and genuinely caring host on the Camino. we chatted about how good it is that Australians and North Americans can travel again. i had a lovely spacious room and the shower was a pilgrim's dream. lovely backyard with discrete washing lines in the afternoon sun and breeze for quick drying. the breakfast was very good with fresh toast and twisted croissants and fresh fruit. excellent fresh juice and coffee! our host was very thoughtful and kind to carry our transported luggage up and down the stairs. the pilgrim portraiture on the walls was stunning!! outstanding hospitality on the Camino.

Ireland
We were met in Horndillos, and taxi’d over to our Hotel by the Owner - we were unaware of these logistics, but they came as a very lovely and gratefully received surprise. The hotel is approx 3km off the Camino de Santiago route, but because of the owner taxi’ing us there and back, this made no difference. We received a pleasant welcome & given a very chilled bottle of water upon our arrival-thank you. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel, and the rooms were clean. There were lovely smelling bath products provided. There was a slight lack of attention to detail, e.g. one of the shower screens was missing, but luckily this did not prevent effective showering. I would happily stay here again.

Here you can feel they want you to have a pleasant rest and recharge. Staff helpful, lovely and friendly. Breakfast plentiful. Room comfy with lovely little details. Placement is close enough to Burgos, far enough to be a quiet and relaxing haven.

The hotel is conveniently located on our route to Bilbao, the dogs were welcome and inexpensive to add to the hotel bill (€5 each), the food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff welcoming. Thanks guys for a super stopover.

This was our fourteenth accommodation during the Camino, and it was the best so far. Super clean hostel, comfortable bed, and nice fluffy towels. This town didn’t have any other restaurants so we had dinner and breakfast here. The food was good and the service was great, too. Highly recommend!
