No English spoken (but why should it be!) but the owner did his very best to communicate through his phone. 👍

Had a lovely stay here. Guillermina the host was helpful and made us sandwiches for our hike on request. The house was immaculately clean, the room was spacious and we had a great two nights' sleep. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated. The area is so beautiful and the hike to the Lago del Valle is stunning.

Such a warm and friendly welcome! The staff were all so cheerful and helpful - gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The rooms were large and comfortable in a slightly old fashioned way. Location is good on the edge of town near the start of the Senda del Oso. Very happy to store bikes in their garage over the road. Offered breakfast for €7 which felt reasonable for coffee, juice, cake and toast.
Surrounded by the stunning mountain landscape of Spain’s Asturias region, this charming, equestrian-themed hotel provides a great setting for a relaxing, rural getaway.

Access to this location by road is dangerous. Don't drive there at night. The roads are very unsafe mountain roads.

Great location and very clean and comfortable room. They were very accommodating with our bikes and allowed us to store them in the restaurant cellar. The restaurant looked very nice, but wasn’t open on a Tuesday evening and we only had coffee there in the morning.
El Rincón de Babia, in the middle of the mountains, in the Babia Biosphere Reserve, in León, bordering the Somiedo Natural Park, in Asturias, offers charming accommodation, a restaurant and bar...

It gives you a warm home welcome even before you meet your hosts and that’s generally the feel. It’s like staying with your favourite relatives. We had the suite with the huge bed with plenty of space, it has an old farmhouse feel. The evening meal was pork ribs with garlic potatoes, wow!
Be prepared that when you ascend for bed, it’s quiet, very quiet. My wife and I normally wake up during the night but the sun was up before us. Whilst enjoying breakfast, we were treated to a herd of Ibex being playful just across the river. What’s not to like ?

Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. Fantastic stay in a remote location in a mountain village. Lovely host who was so kind to allow us to check in after dinner (around 11pm). Rooms have a good size, living room is cosy with a cheminee and with kitchen. Great views from all rooms. Spotless clean. Definitely a place where you can find your inner peace. We would have loved to stay longer.
