We booked the place because we did the Caminito del Rey, and the location was superb! It was close to the South Access (end of Caminito del Rey), and the bus stop to get to the North Access (starting point), which was perfect. There were some shops and a restaurant (hotel) nearby, but if you needed more supplies and dining options, you would need to drive.
The check-in process was easy. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. And our balcony had an unbelievable view! It's so much better in person.
The hosts were fantastic and excellent in communication - checked in prior to, during, and after our stay. The hosts even asked if we needed anything, so they could bring them to us. I thought that was really nice, even though it wasn't necessary, in our case. They even gave us a free bottle of wine and some olives, which I thought was a good personal touch.

A fabulous location, right at the end of the Caminito del Rey, so ideal if you’re doing the walk. A lovely pool, restaurant and communal areas, plus free parking on site. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was superb - highly recommended.
Brilliant central location for all activities in El Chorro. Four bedrooms (2 doubles and 2×4 bunk rooms) and three bathrooms were great for our group of mixed climbing friends. Showers were always hot with a strong pressure. Washing machine and dishwasher were very useful too. The plunge pool was a wonderful way to cool down during the afternoon. Nice large kitchen, wood burning fireplace plus bbq in outside terrace area. Spotlessly clean in a beautifully restored and re jigged traditional regional property. We loved our stay!
Perfect location to stay if you want to walk the Caminito del Rey. Stunning views and lovely unique quirky rooms. Food in the restaurant was fabulous. Room was very clean and staff were polite and friendly.
Amazing location and views. There's truly no other option located as well as this hotel in El Chorro if you want to take Caminito del Rey. The bus stops just in front of the hotel and gets you to the beginning. And how nice it is to come back and jump into the pool with the view to the dam. In addition you get super stylish rooms and quality food. Overpriced? No. It's not cheap, but totally worth it. Save at some other places during your trip. But if you're coming here, stay at this hotel. It's an experience!
The location was perfect for the Caminito del Rey walk, just minutes away, with the train to Malaga 100metres down the road.

Numerous balcony/terraces seating places to have evening meal with lights and music. The facilities including an excellent pool with jaccuzi. The hotel had a very distictive decor which also showed in the rooms.
A fantastic house in a beautiful location. Our host was friendly and very welcoming. This is and ideal location for Rock climbing, in fact Roccabella crag was only 50 metres away. We will be returning as soon as possible.
Wonderful location. Hotel has a great interior design with clever recycling use, which you spot all around you.
