Baixo a Lua is such a great place. The rooms were extra-super clean, and very comfortable. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, and helped us find our way around Sarria. The building was nicely restored and had a variety of really nice spaces such as the room with the original hearth and the bench seat (escaño). The food was good, with a different set menu each day, with good use of local produce.

The manager was very kind to me when I took ill. She made me hot tea and arranged a taxi to take me to our next Camino stop. She also allowed me to rest after check out time which I really appreciated .
