It’s a spectacular hotel. In an old medieval castle the views of the surrounding landscape are phenomenal, the staff are attentive and incredibly helpful and the food is very good.
I really liked breakfasts in the dining room and drinking wine on the roof.

We did not have breakfast provided, but the cupboards in the kitchen had a good range of essentials ie salt, sugar, spices and oils, as well as all the mugs, plates, bowls and cooking equipment we needed. Also there was a tiny grocery/ fruit and veg ship close by.

Great location just outside the city. A charming and helpful host. We were able to use all the facilities of the guest kitchen and we could safely lock our bikes away for the night.
