The house was lovely ! Very well maintained with lots of character and taste, it has gone through the ages without any worry thanks to the good care of its very kind owners. Aulestia is perfectly located, it's a central point in the Basque country allowing to visit many places from there. The people their are very friendly, don't hesitate to go for a drink at the local pub !

I can't begin to relay what an unbelievable experience my wife and friends had at Jose Angel' place. The pictures don't do justice to this stunning house beautiful property and surrounding paradise. We only wish we had more time there. As for the host, he is the epitome of Basque hospitality, preparing every day delicious breakfast, taking care of all our needs, instantly answering all our questions and providing useful tips & suggestions. We can't recommend this home enough and hope we get the opportunity to return one day.

The accommodation was amazing. The best part was the host (Ander), who was extremely kind and nice to use. His son was extremely kind as well. We enjoyed speaking with Ander every morning and evening, and he taught us a little bit of Euskara (Basque Language). In terms of location, it is perfect if you travel by car, since you can visit places west/east of Bilbao. Additionally, we enjoyed the location because it is in a rural area, and we felt a close connection to nature. We had one dinner, and it was extremely tasty, so we can recommend this as well. Overall, this experience surpassed all our expectations. It ranks among the best trips we've ever had. We strongly recommend staying here to anyone looking for an amazing getaway.
