Everything! Staying the night in the castle ‘jail’ - we were given this amazing double room which actually had 2 double beds due to a cancellation. The beautiful location, the wonderful home made bread for breakfast, the kindness shown to us and our dog, the informative and very funny castle tour.

Excellent host who was waiting with the keys. Bottle of wine and water in the fridge for us which was great. We had stayed last year so were aware of the comfort and hospitality.

Lovely breakfast, tour of the castle with it's fantastic views over the countryside was really nice. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet location. Kitchen with equipment and washing machine provided. No restaurant onsite, and the local village restaurant opens only at weekends, so if visiting during the week you would need to bring your own food and drink. It was an ideal stopover on the way to Denia from Bilbao.

Extraordinary location in a historic 13th-century castle with modern installations. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent dinner. Fascinating region with spectacular villages and lots of opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, birdwatching etc. And thank you to a wonderful host!
