Mango guest house was a lovely place just a few minutes walk from the little ferry taking you across from Aswan to Elphantine island. You open the gate and arrive in a beautiful garden with lots of plants, including fresh mint for your tea and lovely seating areas. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff was all very welcoming, helpful and patient with my ever changing plans. You can walk everywhere on the island or ask them to organise a tour to the botanical garden and local Nubian villages or other tours. You can order delicious food from a local restaurant which gets delivered to the guest house. I would love to come again soon.

The Nubian palace is the most friendly place we have stayed in Egypt over the past two weeks, the airport transfer was very helpful, the grilled chicken was very very delicious.
The room was clean with strong air conditioning, the breakfast was also nice. On the day of check-out, the driver brought us sugar cane juice on the way to the Nile Cruise. Really grateful for that. So I would strongly recommend Nubian palace, so nice, so friendly and so helpful.

Lovely place in the West bank of Nile. Nice and quiet. The staff are wonderful. Will take you across the river any time of the day.
If you are flying in to Aswan and travelling here, book the taxi pickup option offered by the hotel as it will cost the same amount and will have less hassle than bargaining with the taxi drivers at the airport.

Everything! The place is very nice clean and cozy! And the owner is the kindest person you could ever meet. We shared a lot of time talking and he was explaining a lot about the area, and touristic points, he also helped me with indications in Arabic in a paper. He also invited me a very tasty fruit juice.
